Collection of 11 German Army WW1 Photos Immalin Trade Cards
Fabulous collection of 11 trade cards showing military photos of the German Army during WWI issued by Immalin Werke
for the album Der Weltkrieg 1914-1918 (The World War 1914-1918). The cards were issued after the war.
The cards are approximately 2 1/4" x 3 1/2".
Each photo is described on the back as to the series and the dates. The following are in this lot: Series 3, 1914 (Gen von Hindenburg); Series 1, 1914 (guard on a mountain); Series 2, 1914 (soldiers marching in mud); Series 5, 1914 (soldiers eating); Series 5, 1914 ( soldiers standing in water); Series 10, 1915 (soldiers in the street with cannon); Series 13, 1916 ( soldiers coming out of the trenches with guns); Series 14, 1916 (soldiers in battle); Series 20, 1917 (soldiers crossing a bridge); Series 21, 1917 (soldiers & tank & smoke); Series 23, 1918 (Hindenburg shaking hands with a soldier).
Back of cards are written in German.
