Brf jars sterilized and ready to go. I always add a layer of vermiculite on top for filtration. I also have a triple layer of micro pore tape on each hole. If you are sending agar (my preferred method) you need to scrape a little vermiculite from the edge to drop your wedge of agar in. Of course if your sending a needle just push through hole on top of lid. I wouldn’t worry too much about it if you don’t have tape I’ve used some without tape at all and never had a problem as long as you got a good layer of vermiculite on top.
