    1800s Antique New York City Cast Iron Newel Post.
    These post were once a common site on the streets of NYC lining the sides of the streets in front of houses. These post were found in a barn and were saved from scrapping efforts during WW2. I have about 35 total but you are bidding on one singular post. The post measures about 22 inches tall and is made of cast iron. I have not cleaned them or touched them other than moving and prepping for shipping. These post are very heavy. Expect wear and aging on each post.
