    1920's Arcade Manufacturing Co. #12 Cast Iron Toy Telephone!
    The Morgan brothers, Charles and Edward started their business ventures in 1868 as "Novelty Iron Works", casting various specialty products. The company was reorganized in 1885 as the "Arcade Manufacturing Company". Shortly thereafter they moved to a larger facility in West Freeport, Ill. Charles' design of a coffee mill patented on October 20, 1891, would become one of their most recognized and successful household products! In 1908 they launched a line of animal banks, and, starting in 1909 they added a variety line of toy products that would last through 1933. Arcade was committed to producing the best quality products in the market. All of their products were made by skilled workmen from the finest materials available!
    This
    is a wonderful #12 cast Iron toy telephone. It is approximately 1 3/8" in diameter at the base x  1 1/4" tall. Please check out my other listings for more pieces of Arcade cast iron doll / doll house pieces.
