1940's Guy Temple Basketball Shorts-Waist 24-Button Fly-Padded-Buckle-White/Navy

A pair of men's basketball shorts from the 1940's.
Label - Guy E. Temple Athletic Equipment Specialists Moline, Ill.
Color - white w/bands of horizontal navy stripes on either side & a navy waistband
Fabric - cotton
Description - elasticized waist, half-belt in front w/metal buckle, button fly.  Quilted padding on both hips.  Trimmed around leg openings w/navy & white trim.
Size - s - actual measurements - waist 24", length 8", inseam 2"
Condition - overall  good.  Missing 1 fly button & has scattered brown spots (please see pictures).  Otherwise  good.
