Mr. and Mrs. Mel Dinesen take time out from their busy operation to pose in front of their neat
little shop in Bakersfield, Calif. Mel, who is a top tuner in the area, has been the Indian dealer
since 1945. He reports a growing demand for Indians, particularly since it is becoming generally
known that he maintains the largest and most complete stock of Indian parts in the San Joaquin
Valley, and can guarantee excellent service.

This new shop in Pasadena was recently erected by Bill Graves, who has been selling Harley-David-
son motorcycles in that area for over 30 years. Through his many years of experience in the field
as dealer, competition rider, skilled mechanic and ordnance instructor, Mr. Graves has a world of
knowledge to offer his customers, and we all wish him every success in his new location.
