This local So. CA. Corvette was purchased by the owner in ’14. After bringing it home, he decided to do some refurbishing, which included replacing the king pins, timing chain, all gaskets (Valve covers, oil pan, timing cover, fuel pump). The distributor was also converted to an electronic ignition for efficiency. The rear leaf springs were replaced as the originals were worn out and sagging. The interior was also refurbished, which included, rebuilt and reupholstered seats, new side panels, new carpet. The motor’s serial number is period correct. The car runs very strong, the soft top is in great shape. New Coker radial tires have about one hundred miles on them. The chrome is good, not perfect. Some pitting on the windshield post. The dashboard is clean, all gauges work. The only thing that doesn’t work is the radio. And appears to be the original unit.
The car has been serviced multiple times per year, which is primarily an oil change and checking the car out. The car rarely left the previous owner’s garage except for a nice drive on a sunny day. He had put less than 1,000 miles on it during the time he owned it. And for that reason, decided to sell it, as these cars need to be driven and enjoyed!
