    Rare Body Off Restored 327/350hp L79 with Factory A/c, Goldwood Yellow over white & Black 1965 Corvette Conv. This was my first real drive in this car, when I bought it all we did was install new correct style white wall tires, a new exhaust system and put the Original dated A/C Compressor back on the car as the owner had a updated style on it. Other then that we just detailed this car really well and it was ready to go. The previous owner had this car for 35 years. He did a complete nut & bolt Body off Restoration to it. Took him a few years to complete it but it shows in the quality of the work he had done to the car. Every component that could be restored he did, and only replaced with correct NOS parts when he did replace stuff. This car has a very nice original Un-Hit body with great fits and super nice lines. The Goldwood Yellow paint is a base coat/clear coat paint and is flawless! Under the hood this car has its Original Born with Numbers Matching L79 327/350hp engine with Factory Air Conditioning, Power Steering, and all correct dated components! When you open the doors the beautiful Original Teak wood wheel with Tele Column catches your eye, and the Black & White Color combo is a great choice on this car! Everything works all the gauges restored and function, wipers, windshield washers, headlights roll etc! It is just a great well sorted rare optioned restored 65 Corvette conv! After previous owner completed the restoration he had this car judged and it received a Bloomington Gold Award, a Chapter NCRS Top Flight Award and a Regional NCRS Top Flight Award. The car was also featured in the Corvette Enthusiast Magazine in a big article! This is a car you must see and drive in person to really appreciate it!
