Description
Beautiful and rare 1970 Corvette LT-1 convertible with equally rare Laguna Gray 1year only color. Of the 1287 LT-1 produced for 1970,less than 500 were convertibles. The LT-1 was the most expensive option for the Corvette that year. It added a whopping 7 to the price. This was 0 more than the big block 454 engine. The added cost was the reason so few were produced. This little powerhouse small block 350ci produced 370HP, but weighed much less than the big block, therefore the car would handle and stop much better than the big block car could. This car has 78,775 miles on it and was beautifully restored in 2014 and looks awesome today. There were very few options available on the 1970 LT-1. No air condition was available because of the very high revving engine. Of course this car has the matching # engine, M21 4 speed transmission, and 371 gear ratio rear end. I do not have a tank sticker or documentation, but the car was inspected by a NCRS/Bloomington Gold Judge in May. Unlike the new Vettes, that are way overpriced these days, this car is fairly priced and is almost assured to continued to rise in value.
