Selling a 1984 Chevrolet Corvette that has received significant restoration and maintenance. The Corvette was originally purchased in September 2007. Significant time, energy, and resources were invested into restoring it with parts sourced from Sawyer, Michigan based company Corvette Central and labor from local Corvette specialist Ricotta Automotive out of Rockford, Illinois. I have dozens of receipts that can attest to the restoration work.The body was sanded and repainted in the original factory color. The rims and caps were restored at a cost of 64. The instrument cluster was restored at a cost of 3. The horn was restored at a cost of 0. The weatherstripping and carpeting were restored at a cost of 91. The door hinges were restored at a cost of 2. The front air deflector and several of the seals were restored at a cost of 4. The glass in the doors were restored at a cost of 42. The cruise control system was restored at a cost of 6. The power window system was restored at a cost of 1. The ball joints were restored at a cost of 7. The headlight motor was restored at a cost of 6. The majority of this work has been performed during the late 2010s.The car received regular maintenance from Ricotta, as well as Meineke and Firestone. The alternator was replaced at a cost of 4. The muffler and exhaust system was replaced at a cost of 1. The engine received significant maintenance at a cost of at least 29. The shock absorbers and struts were restored at a cost of 1. The tires have recently been replaced as well. The car is in excellent condition mechanically. The only outstanding restoration work that we have not done are the windshield wiper system (which only work at high speed) and the driver side side mirror (which needs to be replaced and is not fixed).
