    Description

Selling my 1984 Chevrolet Corvette.  It drives, runs and handles excellent.  Hasn’t seen rain/salt/snow in years if ever.  Mostly stock except Borla exhaust, Edlebrock shocks.  Interior is in very good condition with no rips in the seats.  Paint is beautiful with a small hairline crack about one inch just to the right of the driver side door which is hardly noticeable.  Wheels and tires in great shape.  Mileage is under 67,000.  The driver side door electric window cable ribbon broke and was replaced with a later year more reliable scissor gear.  I forgot to put a guide bar in when changing so that will need to be installed to eliminate play.  I didn’t drive it much last year and when I went to start it this year the clutch pedal went to the floor.  Called a transmission place and they said pump the pedal and then I had no problem.  No leaks of any sort.  Garage kept.  Cruise control doesn’t work. PLEASE if you are interest ask any and all questions.  I have a 100% rating for a reason.  I have owned this car for around seven years.  I will assist pickup or delivery in any way possible.

The 1984 C4 Corvette uses R12 refrigerant which is unavailable. To use a/c in this vehicle would require a retrofit.
R-12 refrigerant is a chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) which depletes the ozone layer. Oddly, R-12 refrigerant is heavier than oxygen. The phase out date for R-12 was January 31, 1995. Since 1996 it cannot be manufactured or brought into the United States. The EPA and The Society of Auto Engineers (SAE) requested a retrofit refrigerant for vehicles up to 10 years old. A worldwide production ban of R-12 is in effect as of January 1, 2000.

For bidders awareness I am posting answers to questions I have received:
Do all lights/directionals/horn work - YES
Any rust on the exhaust system - NO
Does it shift well - Good shifting, needs to be in reverse to remove the key.  On occasion may have to go forward a few inches first.
Overdrive function - YES, I always leave it on
Digital Dash - Stock, bright and crisp
Brakes - Good, am including new pads that were never installed.
