1985 Chevrolet Corvette Coupe
Chevrolet has been pumping out Corvettes for 66 years, building about 1.5 million of them since 1953. That makes the 'Vette one of the most popular sports cars of all time. First- and second-generation Corvettes were one of the first true collectible cars of the modern era, and collecting Corvettes remains a global phenomenon. More than just another two-seat sports car, the Vette is an American icon. There's a good reason it's often referred to as America's sports car.
For consignment we offer the 1985 version of America's sports car. A powerful 350ci L98 V8 engine, and mostly original car for the taking. A targa roof car with the Z51 package, all wrapped in Light Bronze, and low (37,386), original miles.
Exterior
All clean Light Bronze fiberglass in good condition. Some slight difference in the paint between the melamine front bumper and body. Dual electric controlled sport mirrors, and a smoked glass targa lift off roof panel is seen. Black trimmings help breakup the Bronze on this hidden headlight car. On the back the large greenhouse glass cargo area emits from the rear roll bar/B pillar. The flat back with dual round taillights has a nice decal black stripe on the back trunk deck just above. 16-inch aluminum wheels and radials are bolted on all 4 corners.
Interior
Metallic Bronze leather high back buckets are in the gold carpeted passenger compartment. These seats show some cracking and wear not inline well aged leather. They have a centrally located power controlled toggle for infinite adjustment of the seats. A digital driver information system is seen on the curvaceous dash, as well as the automatic transmission shifter that offers overdrive. Power windows, and power steering as well as a key fob remote access button will get you into the rear storage area that has enough room to house the removable top. All is clean for the digital dash and surfaces inside the cockpit.
Drivetrain
An original 350ci L98 V8 can be viewed within a clean engine bay with the flip of the hood. It has tuned port EFI, and a 4-speed automatic on back. Slight corrosion is seen on a few surfaces but overall looking good.
Undercarriage
Very clean and rust free and has been recently given the once over. A C4 suspension is seen, in fiberglass mono leaf spring suspension is on the front and rear. This car is equipped with a posi-trac rear and has the Z51 handling package. Power disc brakes for all 4 corners.
Drive-Ability
Runs great, handled the test track with ease, during the drive I noticed that the A/C doesn't blow cold but all else was working properly.
Overall a clean Corvette that the consignor has gotten good use of. A quick starter, smooth shifter, and plenty of power keep true to the 'Vette legacy of America's Sports Car. Bathed in Light Bronze, and a truly mid 80's interior with the shiny leather bronze seats.

Vehicle Pickup & Shipping:
All shipping charges are buyer's responsibility unless otherwise documented in sales agreement.
Deposit:
Buyer must contact us within 24 hours of accepted offer, and make arrangements for payment at that time. A 0 deposit is due within 48 hours of listings end to secure the vehicle.
Payment of Balance Due:
The remainder is due (plus applicable fees and taxes) within 7 days. If no contact is made within 24 hours we reserve the right to re-list the vehicle or sell it otherwise. All financial transactions must be completed before delivery of the vehicle.
Additional Fees and Taxes:
All Pennsylvania residents must pay applicable state and local tax, title and license fees. Out of state buyers are responsible for their own state taxes and fees. Out of state buyers are responsible for all state, county, city taxes and fees, as well as title/registration fees in the state that the vehicle will be registered.
Shipping:
The buyer is responsible for all shipping charges unless otherwise documented on the sales agreement.  We will assist the buyer with finding a shipping company. We assume no responsibility for damages incurred after leaving our premises. If the vehicle is going to be shipped, full payment must be received before the vehicle is delivered to the shipping company.

Successful Bidder:

Non-Paying Bidder:
If the deposit is not received within 48 hours of the close of auction or if the balance is not paid in full within 7 days following the close of auction, we reserve the right to re-list the vehicle or sell the vehicle to the next highest bidder or another qualified buyer.
