1986 Chevrolet Corvette Coupe
Chevrolet has been pumping out Corvettes for 66 years, building about 1.5 million of them since 1953. That makes the 'Vette one of the most popular sports cars of all time. First- and second-generation Corvettes were one of the first true collectible cars of the modern era, and collecting Corvettes remains a global phenomenon. More than just another two-seat sports car, the Vette is an American icon. There's a good reason it's often referred to as America's sports car.
For consignment we offer a 1986 version of the America's sports car. An engine in the form of a 350ci V8, and a very nicely preserved yellow exterior, performance handling, and an improved fuel injection system are just a few of the upgrades included for this year. 1 of 1,464 units produced in yellow for this year.
Exterior
All clean bright yellow painted fiberglass in good condition. Some dulling in the paint and some areas of overspray, as well as chipping and cracking of the paint are seen on the front driver's quarter, driver's door, and passenger's door. Dual electric controlled sport mirrors, and a smoked glass "targa" style removable roof is seen. 16-inch fan blade with flat middle style alloy wheel covers, wrapped in G force sport radials are bolted on all 4 corners.
Interior
Gray checkered broadcloth inserts with darker gray cloth bolsters in bucket form grace the inside of this Vette. The driver's seat has some staining. A digital driver information system is seen on the square design dash, as well as the 4-speed automatic transmission shifter in the console. The seats flank a nifty console glovebox with a yellow cloth Corvette badged embroidered cover. This cover also seen with a sweeping checkered flag graphic. Power windows, and power steering and a key fob remote access button will get you into the rear storage area that has enough room to take the bags for a long trip. Black carpeting appears in good condition and shows fading to blue under the green house style rear glass. Door panels are black vinyl and have a peppering of yellow inserts to add contrast to their style.
Drivetrain
A 350ci V8 with electronic fuel injection can be viewed within an original engine bay with the flip of the hood. All clean under here with slight corrosion. Bolted on back is the 4-speed automatic transmission. Keeping everything cool is an all electric fan cooling system.
Undercarriage
Reasonably clean and rust free. C4 suspension is seen which includes a posi trac rear, and fiberglass mono leaf spring setup is on the front and rear.
Drive-Ability
Started right up and the digital dash came to life with all the stats. Drives very smoothly, has plenty of power, and the targa roof option when removed allows plenty of airflow. Solid handling, and we are off to the races! Noted is the air conditioning blows warm.
Overall a clean Corvette in seldom seen yellow. A 350ci engine which runs well, and comfortable cloth interior. A few chips and scratches in the paint, alloy wheels and plenty of convenience options on this C4 Corvette.

Vehicle Pickup & Shipping:
All shipping charges are buyer's responsibility unless otherwise documented in sales agreement.
Deposit:
Buyer must contact us within 24 hours of accepted offer, and make arrangements for payment at that time. A 0 deposit is due within 48 hours of listings end to secure the vehicle.
Payment of Balance Due:
The remainder is due (plus applicable fees and taxes) within 7 days. If no contact is made within 24 hours we reserve the right to re-list the vehicle or sell it otherwise. All financial transactions must be completed before delivery of the vehicle.
Additional Fees and Taxes:
All Pennsylvania residents must pay applicable state and local tax, title and license fees. Out of state buyers are responsible for their own state taxes and fees. Out of state buyers are responsible for all state, county, city taxes and fees, as well as title/registration fees in the state that the vehicle will be registered.
Shipping:
The buyer is responsible for all shipping charges unless otherwise documented on the sales agreement.  We will assist the buyer with finding a shipping company. We assume no responsibility for damages incurred after leaving our premises. If the vehicle is going to be shipped, full payment must be received before the vehicle is delivered to the shipping company.
