1989 Chevrolet Corvette - NOT RUNNING - PROJECT CAR!!!
This is a project car and must be picked up locally or shipped. You will need to make arrangements for pickup or shipping, USA ONLY.....Owned by me since 1998, however not on the road since 2005... Life and kids got in the way and never went back to enjoy. Last month, I moved it out of the garage, changed all the fluids, oil, etc., new injectors in 2019 and all ran great. Recently, had this out on the road locally for about a an hour and running fine every day since. Last weekend, went to start it last week and nothing.. I don't think its the motor but rather the starter and the reason for selling AS IS, NOT RUNNING.
Due to health reasons, i don't have the time or interest to figure out what's going on. my loss your gain :(
All interior parts, included with GM and Chilton's Service manual for simple reassembly. There are many replacement parts included for interior. (door items were repurchased for replacement, see rear hatch picture). All original dash and plastics interior parts in very good condition. All interior components are easily reassembled... they were taken apart to clean and not replace.
Paint issue is a result of improper surface prep and/or PPG products but i doubt ... i guess 10k wasn't enough to ensure proper prep and procedure for quality paint work. Thanks, Moppert Brothers in Morton, PA!! NOT
The paint is serviceable with sanding and spot painting the areas. I've done this on other cars and almost impossible to tell the difference if done correctly. I know if your a pro paint guy, you may not agree but it works.
Restoration of carpet is possible with cleaning and dye, no need to purchase new. Anyone that knows Vette, knows the poor quality but this one is actually in decent shape for the year.
All rubber seals were replaced in early 2000's but they have some deterioration but no leaks and car DOES NOT SMELL of mold.
If your looking to make this a Bloomington piece, this is not the car for you. If you're looking for something to do, and daily drive or weekender, or hot rod, this is the inexpensive way to own a Vette. With Auto prices going up every day, you won't lose money on this purchase.
BOTH ROOF PANELS INCLUDED AND COVER. Service manuals included, 2 sets of keys, and all misc parts.
