The last Corvette Roadster of the century! The next one off the line was a 2000. One owner car, he is an NCRS judge and took crazy good care of this car. He had to fly to Texas to get it. Of course he collected and kept every piece of documentation and all the extras from paper floormats to video on how to operate top, manuals, window sticker, build sheets and much more! 16,975 actual miles.
EXTERIOR: Never been in a body shop, all original paint. The torch red is as slick as teflon. Not to say I didnt miss one but I couldn't find a flaw. Has upgraded aluminum wheels and tires, originals are in mint condition and will be included with the car. Black cloth top is pristine. Jambs are spotless. All the rubber weatherstrips and seals are mint. Glass is crystal clear.
INTERIOR: Absolutely spotless. Even in the nooks and crannies it is immaculate. Never smoked in, ashtray and lighter never used. Has aftermarket sill protectors, carpeted mats and custom made console cover with "Last 99" embroidered on it. All the original wrappers, paper floormats are included. The original owner's manual pouch is complete.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: It looks brand new under the hood. He actually would wipe it down and keep it detailed. It features the 5.7 LS-1 motor making 345 hp. Has sequential fuel injection and electronic cruise control.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Immaculate. Has optional embroidered carpet mat. Opens by remote.
UNDERSIDE: He had lifts in his garage, so the bottom was kept clean. Actually it looks practically new. The suspension components are detailed. The assembly line markings and tags are still there. It features front and rear independent suspension. Speed sensitive rack & pinion steering. Limited slip rear end. Optional active handling system. Custom exhaust was added, sounds great. The original exhaust in excellent condition is included too.
Like I said, the owner is very meticulous. I bought his 4 car collection and each car was spotless top to bottom. Each car included a box of documentation and extras. Each car even had a car cover in a labeled bag, seatbelted in the passenger seat. Yes, he was thorough. So you can imagine that every single document, literature and all the protective wrappers were saved. God only knows what this car could be worth as an investment in the future. Not just the last convertible made that year but the last one of the century! Corvette collectors love rarity and documentation. I was told the last coupe of the century sold for charity and brought over 0,000. This car has never been offered for sale, now is your opportunity!
I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my professional impression of the vehicle.
Our salesmen are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure your questions are answered. One great suggestion is letting us do a walk around video that explains the car's condition in detail.
Don't be intimidated, contact sales now for a no pressure, no hassle experience!

About Volo Auto Museum
No other collector car dealer has been in business longer than the Volo Auto Museum. Owned and operated by the Grams family since 1960. We are the only collector car dealer that has 4 generations of experience with buying, selling and consigning classic autos. For our family, classic cars are more than a business, it is a passion. Over the decades, we have maintained a reputation for dealing with integrity as proven with our high reviews and A+ rating with the BBB.
Buying a classic car can be exciting, but also stressful. We want to take the stress out of your buying experience by allowing you the time and tools you need to get to know the car you are interested in before making your investment, not after. Unlike auctions, we allow test drives, 3rd party inspections, the use of our shop and car lift. No reasonable request will be turned down.
Selling a car can be equally stressful, but it doesn’t have to be. After reviewing your quality collector car, we will discuss the options we have available to you and let you decide what works best for you. We have cash available for immediate sales and we also offer a consignment program that surpasses anyone else’s. Unlike percentage based programs with fees; we work with a no fee, net to owner. This allows us the opportunity to treat and market your car as if it were our own. We invest approximately 00 of our own money into marketing your car, which means if it doesn’t sell, we lose, not you. So, we are more aggressive in selling your car!
