OFFERED FOR SALE ARE **2** ANTIQUE 1880 - 1910 EARLY AMERICAN PRESSED GLASS 12" TALL RETAIL DISPLAY SHELF RISERS/PEDESTALS. THESE WERE USED IN OLD SODA FOUNTAINS, DRUG STORES & GENERAL STORES TO SUPPORT THE GLASS DISPLAY SHELVES. SOME USE THESE AS FLUTED TRUMPET VASES OR HAT STANDS, BUT THEIR ORIGINAL PURPOSE IS FOR RETAIL DISPLAYS.  THEY MEASURE 5" ACROSS THE OPEN TOP & 4-1/2" ACROSS THE BASE.  THEY ARE BOTH IN EXCELLENT CONDITION FOR THEIR AGE AS I NOTICE NO DEFECTS, SUCH AS CHIPS, CRACKS OR SCRATCHES. THEY WERE ACQUIRED IN AN ONLINE AUCTION OF ANTIQUE & VINTAGE GOODS.
