Item Description
A great early hand forged hitching post.  This is in overall good condition.  Shows lots of the original barn paint.  Would have gone through the wall and be held with the clevis.  No apparent makers mark.  Measures about 9-1/2" long.  It is about 2-1/2" across the posts where they go through the wall.  Has a nice ornate 'S' piece that looks to be a washer.  Ring is about  5-1/2" across.
