  • Condition: Very Good Estate Fresh and As Found. All I did was dust it off and wipe it down with an oily rag. Has some minor age/use imperfections but nothing significant. Please view the pics to help assess. For its age the post is in excellent shape. Some normal age / use indications as shown.

    Description

    I have up for sale a wonderful antique / vintage original circa 1880s to early 1900s Oak Newel Post . Estate Fresh and As Found - all I did was dust it off and wipe it down with an oily rag. Old original finish as you can see, some variance in coloration in spots.
    The post stands approx 60-1/2" to the top of the finial , the base section measures approx 8-1/4" square, the upper section beneath the finial approx 9" square. It weighs just over 47 lbs.
    I will package with care and ship fully insured.
    ONLY THROW OUT THE BOXES AND PACKAGING AFTER YOU HAVE INSPECTED THE ITEM OR ITEMS AND FIND NO DAMAGE other than what may be noted in the condition report or shown in the pics.
    IN THE RARE EVENT YOU RECEIVED THE ITEM AND IT IS DAMAGED  -CONTACT ME ASAP -  KEEP THE BOX AND ALL PACKAGING MATERIALS JUST AS THE ITEM ARRIVED AS THEY WOULD BE NEEDED TO HELP PROCESS THE INSURANCE CLAIM.  YOU WOULD BE REQUIRED TO HELP WITH THE INSURANCE CLAIM . SAVE THE BOX AND ALL PACKAGING ,PICS OF THE OUTER BOX AND INNER BOX , AND OF THE DAMAGED ITEM WOULD BE REQUIRED. WITHOUT THESE PICS, YOU WILL NOT GET A REFUND IF I CAN NOT PROCESS THE CLAIM - YOUR HELP IS REQUIRED. THIS IS PART OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITY WHEN IT COMES TO DAMAGE. I PACKAGE TO THE VERY BEST OF MY ABILITIES BUT SOMETIMES THINGS HAPPEN THAT ARE OUT OF OUR CONTROL.
