Nice decorative antique turned oak hardwood newel post. The newel post is in a light varnish finish.  Has a nice small simple Acorn top finial. It is a salvaged piece so expect to find nails, nail holes, and small chunks missing. scuffs and scratches. There is minor saw marks where the top and bottom rails where cut off. Overall good solid condition. Please look over the pictures and ask questions when needed. Thanks for looking!
