Very Nice decorative antique turned oak hardwood newel post. The newel post is painted in a thick white finish.  Has a nice Urn top finial. It is a salvaged piece so expect to find nails, nail holes, and small chunks missing. scuffs and scratches. The newel post does have notches on the bottom section from the staircase treads and risers  Overall good solid condition. Please look over the pictures and ask questions when needed.
