Nice decorative antique Large oak hardwood turned newel post. The newel post is in a lite destressed varnish finish.  Has a nice acorn finial, and nice 3 1/2" bullseyes on 3 sides. One bullseye is split and chunked out (last photo).  It is a salvaged piece so expect to find nails, nail holes, scuffs and scratches. It is notched on the bottom, the side, and notched for top handrail.   Overall good solid condition. Please look over the pictures and ask questions when needed. Thanks for looking!
