ANTIQUE SOUVENIR TRINKET BOX
Lovely antique embossed metal trinket or ring box measuring about 3" wide, 3" tall and 2" deep. Featuring ornate raised decoration on all sides, lid is canted and hinged with an image of the EMPIRE STATE BUILDING, N.Y.C. Sitting on four flared feet, interior is padded and lined with silk. Underside is marked J.B. and design number 1298 for Jennings Brothers.
Condition is very nice with no breaks, dents, bends or repairs - interior silk is a bit soiled from contents, and there is plating darkening and probably loss - I did not try to polish this up. Think it is a charming antique souvenir of a visit to New York - fun addition to any collection or display!
