Nice antique hardwood newel post with large Urn Top finial. It's in a worn scratched, scuffed medium varnished finish.   Has a great urn top finial with decorative egg trim detail.  It is a salvaged piece so expect to find nails, nail holes, and small chunks missing. The finial does have some splits as shown in photos. This post is hollow.  Overall, in good, salvaged condition. Please look over the pictures and ask questions when needed.
