ONCE HUNG IN MY WORKSHOP
This sign, and 3 other replica signs used to be above my workbench on the wall of my back shed.
Take it from someone who knows. Don't ever get married unless you fully understand exactly what being married really means.
I was working on my 41 Chief, shown in one of the pictures, and It's for sale too but not in this sale when my wife came busting in and started shooting at the signs on my wall. Seems that it was Valentines Day and months earlier I had promised her that I would take her out on Valentines Day. Her birthday is February 15, so this would be a twofer for me.
How in the hell was I supposed to remember that when I just received a new Crocker damper knob from the chromer and it was time to install it. I forgot all about her birthday, Valentines Day and everything other than my 41 Indian needing some work done.
She swung open the door and quietly walked in. I was on the floor getting ready to raise the front wheel so that the bearings wouldn't fall everywhere when I exposed the race and BAM ! She just started shooting.
She didn't hurt me or any of my bikes but she sure as hell killed all the signs that were hanging above the workbench.
So here they are. The first one is thin tin and measures 13 x 10.25 inches. It's very thick metal and has many 9mm and .22 caliber holes to hang it from as well as 1 in each corner meant for a nail. This particular sign has very tight grouping and is strictly 9mm shot.
