Nice antique Urn top hardwood Oak newel post. Does have old lite chocolate brown paint. The paint is missing where the rail was attached and has scuffs and scratches in the finish.  Nice simple newel post with a nice nail on top Urn finial.  It is a salvaged piece so expect to find nails, nail holes, and small chunks missing. scuffs and scratches. The post is hollow. Overall good solid condition. Please look over the pictures and ask questions when needed. Thanks for looking!
