APC AP5401 16 port Analog CAT5 KVM Switch. Unlocked & Tested.
We go far beyond powering our switches up, as a
testing
method.
We have accessed these switches from the local OSD console & tested all KVM ports for mouse, keyboard & video signals.
We have also accessed the switches
using the Hyper terminal port and remote IP.
Supports up to 2 concurrent users (local or extended local) to manage multiple servers with just one keyboard, monitor and mouse.
Authentication: Control user privileges and access rights to protect IT assets from unauthorized individuals.
Cascading capabilities: Horizontal console port servers can be cascaded to manage up to 1,024 devices.
Seamless integration with APC Switched Rack PDU Remote power management allows remote power on, power off and power cycle, reducing the need for service dispatches.
Note: You will need to use a PS2
keyboard
& PS2 mouse when you plug them directly to the switch, as the switch does not have USB ports for local keyboard & mouse.
