    Description

This listing is for the torch head ONLY--The fuel canister can usually be purchased locally from many sources, or even online. The fuel costs as little as .50 to .00 for a 7.8 ounce can, especially if you order several at a time. Use only the type of can as shown in the photograph.
This torch head puts out a large flame, much larger than the typical micro torch.  This flame, which is about 2,400 degrees F., is large enough for bigger jobs such as soldering bezels, pmc curing, lampwork glass bead making, silver soldering on a tripod, etc.
The flame is adjustable for size, but is pre-set for maximum temperature.  You must use a flame or spark to ignite this torch .  It takes about 5 seconds to switch canisters and resume working.
Nicely constructed of solid brass with simple twist-on, twist-off attachment to canister. Being able to use the large fuel canisters allows you to work for many hours before changing tanks. Of course, with the fuel tank in place the burning torch will rest upright on your bench so that you have both hands free. Ideal for lampwork!
