Deep Pleat Tape
Length:  11.5 yards
Sewing Instructions:
1.  Sew your panels.  Finish the side hems and bottom hems.  At the header you will want to fold a 1/2 inch flap to the back side and press it down.
2.  Make sure the the pockets on the deep pleat tape are facing up and lay it across the whole width of the panel.  You will want to leave about 1/8" between the top edge of the panel and the tape.  At the dies you will want to trim the tape to 1" extra and fold under.  This will give you a clean edge on the right and the left side of your drapery panel.  Pin everything down once you are happy with the placement.
3.  Machine stitch the tape to the panel along both edges.  You will want to go in the same direction for both sides so your fabric will remain smooth.  You are now ready to place your 4 prong curtain hooks and install your drapery panels!
Deep pleat tape offers 5 1/2' pleat take up when skipping every other channel.  Skip 2 channels between hooks for 3 1/4 spacing and 2.6X fullness, or 3 channels between hooks for 4 1/4" spacing and 2.3X fullness.
