Doll Chest ❤️ PA Dutch Painted 6"-10” Hitty Betsy Riley Cissette ~ Gorgeous

For your consideration is this vintage chest  in the Pennsylvania Dutch fashion of paint. It is a black background with gold trim.  It is beautifully painted with 1827 right in the middle on it. I cannot find any correlation with the state of Pennsylvania and the year 1827.  I believe this piece is very unusual as I have never seen another.  I believe the style of chest is very old.  I have used this with many dolls and you will have seen it used and photographed most often with the Madame Alexander Cissette doll. I think it might’ve even shown up in some FAO Schwartz catalogs. I do have other pieces of this furniture so check back and see what I have listed. This is part of my personal collection and has always been gently displayed and kept out of sunlight. You are bidding on the chest only there are no dolls or props included.
