Description

This listing is for the three parts that make up the locking lever for adjusting the fence on a vintage Delta 4" or 6" jointers.  These are the components that attach to the heavy sleeve that serves as the wrench on the fence support stud.
THIS LISTING IS FOR A THREE PIECE SET, CONSISTING OF THE KNOB, THE THREADED STUD, AND THE REINFORCING SLEEVE THAT FITS OVER THE STUD.
THE HEAVY HEX SLEEVE THAT SERVES AS THE HEX WRENCH FOR BOTH NUTS IS

The sleeve is often missing, which allows the stud to bend when tightening the fence position locking hex nuts.  The stud is often times missing as well, having been replaced with a mismatched hex bolt.  Same with the ogiinal knob.
Our all new sleeve is CNC machined from C1018 steel and is bright zinc plated for appearance and corrosion protection.
The 3/8" diameter steel stud is threaded both ends to match the original stud.
The black thermoplastic ball knob is our Saturn knob, which duplicates the popular OEM Delta knob with the raised ring around the center of the knob.
The Delta part numbers for these items when used on a 4" jointer are FJ-309 for the sleeve, FJ-310 for threaded stud, and FJ-324 for the knob.
When used on a 6" jointer, the same items are Delta part numbers NJ-246 for the sleeve, NJ-245 for the threaded stud, and NJ-247 for the knob.
