COMPLETE GUARD RETURN TENSION ADJUSTING UNIT FOR A VINTAGE DELTA 37-220 DELUXE JOINTER
These parts are all new and have been improved in design and material selections versus the OEM Delta parts.
Seven (7) parts and fasteners are included in this offering:
The torsion spring  p/n DJ-13
The retainer washer p/n DJ-10
The hand knob  p/n DJ-9
The retainer ring p/n DJ-11
Screws (3) p/n SP-723
Comparing our newly manufactured parts to the OEM parts:
The retainer washer is laser cut from non-corroding aluminum vs carbon steel.  The washer was CNC machined with holes and a repositioned slot making it easier to insert the spring tab.
The hand knob and its internal slotted sleeve were CNC machined from C1018 steel vs the die cast zinc OEM part.  Once complete, the knob has been bright zinc plated for appearance and corrosion protection.
The retainer ring was CNC machined from billet aluminum vs the die cast OEM part.
The screws provided are 18-8 stainless steel 8-32 fillister head slotted screws.  OEM screws were carbon steel.
