So there I was stuck with a few KVM units in the rack that were transferred from another office. I tried to switch the console port and all I got was enter password. Of course no one remembered what the passwords were. I called HP and right away the little guy in India asked me for the serial number and said it was out of warranty and he cannot help me. I am sure you have been there too. I was at a dead end, and I was not going to pay them their fee to try with no refund if it did not work. Same thing happened with Dell. So I said the heck with all of them and began to break down the circuitry in blocks on the board and finally figured out the culprit.
I
am offering a password removal service for the following KVM's or Console Switches. The HP E01013 models 340386-001 "8-port" and 347387-001 "16 port"  and the Dell models 180AS "8 port" and Dell 2160AS "16 port", and the Dell 2161DS "16 port". This auction is for one the password removal only, and several are posted if you have additional units. This is not a challenge response code utility but an actual hardware repair, as I am replacing the surface mount ic that stores your password with a new blank one that will allow you to set your own password or none at all. Your KVM must be working, do not send me a dead no power on unit. If you need the power supply repaired to correct the fuzzy video problem or a no power up problem, please ask for a price as that is a separate service all together that I do offer.   You ship me your KVM and I remove the password lock circuitry and install a new blank one and return your KVM back to you for one flat fee. Shipping to me is on you, so please package your unit so it does not get damaged in shipping. I am not responsible for shipping damage.  Shipping FedEx Ground insured back to you is included in the price to the the continental USA only. Payment by PayPal only.
You are not buying a KVM, you are getting the password removed and reset from your KVM and I ship your KVM back to you.
