    Description

From another eBay member: "The individual holding the baton is Kaiser Wilhelm. His standard bearer is behind him which is the indicator (other than recognizing him outright)."  Given that revelation there is likely quite a collection of famous individuals in this photo behind him.
Showing a parade of German soldiers during WW1 through the streets of a town.  They are parading past what is likely a military leader or general (likely the Kaiser). The soldiers are wearing the traditional Picklehaube common in early WW1 and used often for ceremonial purposes.  There is a band playing in the foreground, and they have on the new M1916 or M1917 model Stalhelm as I believe I can see the rivet for the chin strap on the outside.  This would date this to WW1 era.
There is a flag near a sign where you can see what might be partial unit insignia so identification might be possible.  The sign next to the flag reads Dappen or Doppen and (Dolen--anter?).  If it is Doppen that is Dutch for shell so this could be a parade through a town in the Northern Flemish region of Belgium.
You can also see a large sign on the building in the background "Auto".
There is an "X" on the photo which I again am guessing could be an indication of the soldier or person whose name is on the back left corner.  The photo is also numbered in the top right on the back.
    Measures about 3.5 x 5.5 inches.
