    Wood dust is a known carcinogen. The band saw create a tremendous amount of fine dust. It’s the type of dust that ends all over the shop and in the air you breathe. RIPNADO is a new dust collection accessory for the bandsaw (Patent Pending). We’ve designed RIPNADO around the traditional / typical 14” bandsaw. In our experience RIPNADO collects nearly all (98%) of the wood dust at the bandsaw. We believe RIPNADO is more effective than the dust collection but into any existing bandsaw. Ripnado works with standard 14” bandsaws with round table inserts approximately 2” in diameter. Ripnado works with either a dust collector or shop vacuum but is more effective with the higher static pressure of shop vacuums. Ripnado is easily removed and re-attached with bandsaw blade changes. The magnetic sheets (3 are included) surround the band saw blade and direct the vacuum flow to right at the bandsaw blade. The magnetic fitting securely attach over the magnet sheet with rare earth magnets. The included 4 foot hose is light weight and flexible. It matches to the inside diameter of a 1 1/4” shop vac hose or adapter. Finally an effective dust collection accessory that picks up dust right at the source!!
