STANDARD JOHNSON COIN COUNTER/SORTER.
A most elaborate coin counting/sorting machine circa late 1920s. Included with this machine are copies of the patent papers filed in 1925. Looking at this machine, one cannot imagine how complicated this piece is. There is a large hopper at the top where the coins are deposited flowing down a chute and onto a round turntable obviously this machine was very accurate and functional, and the mechanics somewhat overwhelming.
