DESCRIPTION:
This coin was exclusively crafted from authentic materials recovered during the historic centennial restoration of the Statue of Liberty National Monument in the 1980’s. It’s in celebration of Lady Liberty's and Ellis Island’s 100-year anniversary 1886-1986.
These valuable materials were made available by the Statue of Liberty - Ellis Island Foundation (SL/EIF), in 1982 to be ready by the statue's centennial in 1986.
The paper weight is approximately 1” thick and 3 ½” in diameter.

Poor:                       Used and shows considerable wear and/or severe damage.
