This sale is for 2 or
4 quart jars
with self healing injector lids and a filter patch for gas exchange. These jars are filled a little over 3/4 the way with sterilized rye berries. The jars are sterilized and ready to use right out of the box! Simply inject 2-4 ml of mushroom spore solution or liquid culture. Allow to fully colonize at room temperatures for 20 days or so. Now your colonized grains can be cased, used for grain transfers or spawned to a bulk substrate.

Protocol for preparing the jars is standard
:
Soak rye for 24 hrs
Simmer for 12-13 minutes
Allow to cool and surface dry for 2-3 hrs
Finally, load the jars and sterilize
