Vintage Mexican  ABALONE SHELL & ALPACA SILVER  oval trinket  or pill box in excellent condition.  Beautiful slightly domed  irrdescant abalone shell onthe  lid.  Bright and clean inside. Secure clasp, good hinge.
Measurements : LID  is 1-1/2" x 1-1/8", and the box is 1-1/4" x 7/8" x 1/2" deep.
Marked Alpaca Mexico. Alpaca is a blend of durable metals made to look like silver.  Also called nickel silver .
This little box is a quality example of Alpaca .
