They don't come much rarer than this fantastic 1950s souvenir from NEW YORK INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (now JFK airport) with an amazing night view of the old control tower and promenade ramp, and the magnificent fountain (the Fountain of Liberty) that is long gone and dates back to when the airport was known as Idlewild Airport.
Produced by IMPKO and obviously designed by a master illustrator, this decal perfectly captures the golden age of air travel. It is in first class condition with a tiny crease at the top center, and measures 3" wide by 3 7/8" tall. It is in its original printed glassine sleeve.
Due to the age and rarity of this decal, we suggest it never be water dipped, but kept "as-is" as the centerpiece of a vintage collection.
