vintage NewYork city rockefeller plaza wood box explosives Amer. Cyanamid Co.

Here is what i think is a really unusual, if not rare piece of early
30 Rockefeller Center/Plaza memorabilia.
CONDITION
The front and back seem to be original and complete.
The bottom appears original.
The lid appears to be "after market"as it is made of plywood but made a long time ago and is attached with two 2 small nails diagonally across from each other. They do not appear to be as old as the others in the box as you can see wear around the other nails that depicts more age.
The width seems to have been cut down from the ends of the original box . It looks as if BOTH ends are part of their respective original ends. I.E. both ends were damaged at some point and cut down to fit the box.
It is a very good marriage and MAY be original as they are dovetailed on one side and nailed on other.
But do not know and probably doubt that theory but it is a GREAT repair. You can look at the ends and see what I mean. There is a split in wood on back, but does NOT go end to end and is shy about 3-4" of going all the way from end to end.
It measures 17 1/2" W X 10 1/2" H X 8 1/2"  Approx..
I believe this is about as old a piece from 30 Rockefeller Plaza you are gonna find and an incredible piece of N.Y. history.
A huge crossover piece for Rockefeller plaza/center collectors, NYC coll's, wood box and dynamite collectors.

The item weight is 5lb 5oz. and ships close to 10 lbs. packed. If there is an overage I have no problems refunding thru PP.

All of my items I own have  been around for a month or moref or years, so, I DO know where they have been before being sold.
My wife and I are in virtual seclusion and are both 70 yrs. young and go out only when necessary. My job is in agriculture/lawncare and am SELF EMPLOYED and work alone and am the only one who handles the equipment.
I do all the shopping and go ONCE every two weeks at 7 am to avoid crowds, wear a mask and glasses that wrap around my face to protect my eyes from infection and damage at work.
I keep 15 -20 gal's. of gas to reduce my contact with the rest of the human race.
I am cleaning everything possible prior to packaging so the product you recieve is as clean as possible upon delivery to you. Having said that the P.O. does have to HANDLE all packages at some point, especiall during physical dropoff

and I HIGHLY recommend letting package sit out in a safe area for 24-36 hrs. as this is how long they say it can survive on paper or cardboard.
I know we are living during times much harder than normal. My wife dislikes people and is happy with the seclusion, 2 doctors visits in 8 weeks and home w/out visitors otherwise. I, on the otherhand love people and enjoy one on one communication, but am happy to spend my time doing ebay, getting excercise thru the work I do and working in and around the house, and most of all having my wife as my greatest companion and friend.
