Vintage - Pill Box Locket with Mirror - Trinket Case - Powder Case - Silver Tone

This vintage piece may serve as a pill box, trinket case, or powder case.  A small mirror is included on the inside as well as a small hanging loop on the exterior top.
It is 40+ years old and in great condition as it was never used.  It is a solid, well made piece with a sturdy hinge.  The locket opens and closes easily.
I have not been able to identify the metal from which it is made.  I am not sure if it is silver as I am unable to locate a mark.
A floral design is on both the front and back of the piece.  There are also some very light gold accents.
Approximate measurements without loop: 1  5/8" in diameter.  5/16" in depth.
