    Description

    Offered for auction a darling "VINTAGE 1950's WHITNEY WOODEN BABY DOLL CRIB / BED W/DROP-DOWN SIDE RAIL / WOODEN WHEELS / GEOMETRIC WOOD SHAPES W/INTERMITTENT PLASTIC BEADS & PINK BABY ELEPHANT DECAL".  This crib also includes the original hardboard support, new padded alphabet coverlet and fluffy pillow.  It is in good vintage pre-owned condition with no chips, normal wear, old repair, aged patina and is offered "as is", with no returns or refunds.  The hardboard support is in good condition with a dip in the center.  The wheels are in excellent working condition.  The drop-down side rail is secured with two metal hooks on the corners.  The dimensions: Length...26", Height...20 1/4", Depth...14 3/4".  The affixed label reads: WHITNEY, Since 1904, Marlborough, N. H. 03455.  The dolls pictured are for staging and not offered in this listing.
    Anecdotal discourse...(Photo #11). Sister-girl says to brother-boy: "I TOLD YOU to leave the drop-rail DOWN, BEFORE we sneaked into the kitchen to take some chocolate chip cookies, while mom is still sleeping, but YOU wouldn't listen.  NOW! you have to climb over...YOU'RE MESSING UP MY HAIR!".
